Hello! I'm Blake, the curator of this digital time capsule. Based in Columbus, Ohio, I work professionally as a project manager. My background in instructional design heavily influences how I approach this archive—I believe that preserving history isn't just about collecting names and dates, but about organizing the information so the stories are accessible, engaging, and easy to navigate.

This project was born out of a desire to map out our ancestors' journeys. Tracking the family lineage from Scotland through Pennsylvania and finally settling in Ohio has been incredibly rewarding. I spend a lot of time poring over historical records, parsing GEDCOM files, and structuring this data so future generations can easily discover their roots.

When I'm not building out family trees or deep in research, I'm usually planning my next travel adventure with my husband—whether that's exploring the cliffs of Ireland or wandering the streets of Kyoto. At home, you can usually find me hanging out with our German Shepherds, huskies or cat, tinkering with custom PC builds and retro gaming, or managing my indoor plant jungle.
